Ustat Chhabra

With a passion for sports and fitness, Ustat decided to pursue a career in massage therapy to help his clients along their own fitness journey, Growing up in Surrey, Ustat has had extensive experience in the local soccer community and has worked with a wide range of clientele in his career.

With over 5 years of experience- Ustat believes that the combination of manual therapy and corrective exercises one of the most effective ways to combat injuries and chronic pains. His style of treatment is geared to empower his patients to take care of themselves at home along with regular treatment.

When not working you will most likely find Ustat playing soccer, working out or eating new food.

Physiotherapy

Amar Athwal

Amar graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology, and Masters Degree of Physical Therapy. Amar has also received his Certification in Dry Needling by Acupuncture Canada.

Amar has a keen interest in treating injuries related to sports, orthopedics, and MVA’s. He also enjoys helping patients with everyday pains and aches, injuries sustained at work, and injuries suffered outside of work. Amar also has a keen interest in helping those that are retired and want to be able to enjoy their retirement and stay active. Amar’s approach to therapy is to provide patient-centered evidence-based care through education, manual therapy, dry needling, soft tissue work, and exercise prescription. His treatment is rooted in providing one-on-one care and spending the necessary time to formulate a plan of action alongside his clients to achieve their goals. He’s a continuous learner, always looking to advance his skills and knowledge.

Amar’s interest in physiotherapy began from his own personal experience with injuries and rehab through sports. He was fascinated by the way his physiotherapist was able to use multiple different techniques to get him game-ready as quickly as possible. From there, he began looking into the steps required to become a physiotherapist himself.

Amar is fluent in English and Punjabi, and can serve patients in both languages. When he is not in the clinic, Amar is either enjoying a good book, playing basketball, golfing, or spending time with his his dog Oliver.

Jasmeet Sahota

Jasmeet attended West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where she graduated from the RMT program. She has experience working with a variety of patients experiencing headaches, musculoskeletal/sports injuries, neurological disorders as well as patients looking for pain/stress relief in their day to day life.

Jasmeet also has experience in PRE and POST-NATAL massage, providing relief to expecting and new mothers.

Jasmeet believes every patient presents with a unique set of symptoms and challenges. She works towards creating effective treatment plans that cater to her patients specific needs and goals. She provides therapeutic massages in order to promote relaxation, relieve stress, heal injuries, decrease pain and increase circulation. Jasmeet hopes that with her knowledge and experience she can work with her patients to take steps towards improved health, wellness.
